1. Scope and provider
These terms govern the SailLogOne mobile app, web dashboard, cloud synchronization and paired board anchor app. Provider details are available in the imprint.
2. Service
SailLogOne supports logbook entries, GPS routes, trips, crew, engine hours, photos, statistics and exports. Cloud, dashboard and paired anchor-watch functions depend on the enabled service scope.
3. Accounts
Cloud and dashboard functions require a personal account. Access credentials must not be shared.
4. Trial and subscriptions
An offered trial lasts seven days. Binding prices, term, renewal and cancellation are displayed before purchase in the relevant app store. Promo-enabled testers pay nothing for enabled test use.
5. Storage
Data may be stored locally and, where enabled, on servers in Germany/the EU. Important data should be backed up regularly by PDF or data export.
6. Checklists, safety briefing and shopping share
Checklists support the skipper during preparation and briefing but do not replace independent checks, required instruction or seamanship. The skipper confirmation records only the skipper's own completion and is not an individual crew signature. The skipper remains responsible for accuracy and necessary updates.
A voluntarily created shopping link is time-limited and revocable. Anyone holding it can view and, where enabled, edit the shared list without an account. The creator must keep the link confidential, share it only with intended persons and avoid unlawful or unnecessary personal content.
7. Navigation and anchor watch
SailLogOne is not an approved navigation or safety system and must not be the sole or primary navigation, watchkeeping or anchor-drag safeguard. Use appropriate charts and equipment and regularly verify the actual situation.
8. Permissions and availability
Background tracking requires suitable location, battery, notification and audio settings. Continuous operation cannot be guaranteed where GPS, network, hardware or operating-system restrictions interfere.
9. Acceptable use
Illegal use, attacks, access-control circumvention and use of another person's account are prohibited.
10. Liability
Liability remains unlimited for intent, gross negligence, injury to life, body or health, guarantees and mandatory law. For slight negligence affecting a material contractual duty, liability is limited to typical foreseeable damage. Mandatory consumer and digital-product rights remain unaffected.
11. Cancellation and deletion
Store subscriptions are managed through the relevant store. Account deletion can be requested at Account and data deletion.
12. Changes and governing law
Material changes will be announced and renewed express acceptance obtained where required. German law applies without limiting mandatory consumer protections.
